I couldn’t be happier when these cute little things were back on the streets of fashion!
Dungaree overalls were my wardrobe staple as a kid; my mom made sure that I had one in almost every color and shape and size. At that point of time I hated it and wanted to dress up like a grown up but now is a different story. A sight at these and it takes me right back to my school days! School days because the skirts that we wore had these adjustable straps making it look like a dungaree skirt.
There are a variety of dungarees available to choose from. I, for my apple shaped body, chose a high waisted skater skirt dungaree. Skater skirt dungarees also look good on pear shaped bodies, while dungaree shorts are the best bet for petite ones.
I paired mine with a simple striped tee, side braided hair and my white gladiator jelly clogs. I have an oily and sweaty face and monsoons just make my skin worse, hence no risking cake-y makeup but just a bright pink lipstick for the pop. I chose to leave my eyebrows undone as I think it gives me a more childish and immature look as opposed to finely done brows. Ok, I am kidding. I am not a parlour person and am too lazy to go just for threading.
