I love bakeries! I come from a place where the small little bakeries and confectionery had the best sponge cakes and puffs and it’s nostalgic. But now that I have come far away from home, I miss those humble snacks. Bangalore has a good amount of bakeries but Mumbai, I haven’t found much. Well, I did hear that Pune has some good ones, and trust me I wouldn’t mind travelling to the bakeries in Pune for a weekend haha!
Pune for me reminds me of Bangalore in many ways. The weather, student crowd, over expensive auto rides, roadside momos – its bliss! It also has a number of bakeries that serve fresh crisp savories, the thought of which are making my mouth water!
